Sliding doors panelled in three shades of blue and a hard acid yellow, with the pelmet and side frame painted to match — a wardrobe built for a child who had outgrown it years ago. Every panel was resurfaced in a walnut grain and a flat white, and the pelmet and frame taken with them, so the run now agrees with the dark timber shelving that was already beside it. The same doors slide on the same aluminium tracks. Nothing left the room.
