Cabinet doors, drawer fronts, end panels, the island and the backsplash, resurfaced exactly where they stand. Your carcasses, hinges and worktop never move. You simply come home to a kitchen you want to cook in again.
In most HDB and BTO kitchens the boxes are perfectly sound. It is the fronts that have dated, or swollen, or simply stopped feeling like yours. Replacing everything means new carcasses, new doors, disposal and re-installation, paying a second time for a structure you already own. Resurfacing keeps it, and changes only the part you look at every single day.
A kitchen holds years of cooking in its surfaces, and film will not bond through any of it. Every door is degreased, keyed, filled where it has chipped, and primed before a single sheet goes on. It is slow, unglamorous work that nobody will ever admire, and it is the entire reason your kitchen still looks like this in five years.
Doors and drawer fronts come off, are wrapped, and go back on their own hinges. No hacking, no skip outside your door, no moving the family out. Dinner still happens.
Drag any slider. Every pair is our own photography, in someone's actual home.
Film needs a surface that is flat, sound and dry. These are the times resurfacing is simply the wrong answer for you, and we would far rather say so at the survey than leave you to discover it after the invoice.
Send a photo of the surface and roughly what you have in mind. We will tell you what is possible, what it would cost, and whether it is worth doing at all.
